Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the Stokpot mobile application (“App”) operated by Michael Davis (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Stokpot, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Stokpot is a meal planning and kitchen management app that allows you to:

Track pantry inventory
Plan meals and generate meal plans
Discover and save recipes
Create and manage shopping lists

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Use the App only for lawful purposes
Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or tamper with the App
Not use the App to transmit harmful or malicious content
Provide accurate information when using the App

Subscriptions and Payments

Free Features

Basic features of Stockpot are available for free.

Premium Subscription

Premium features require a paid subscription. Subscription details:

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings

Free Trial

If offered, the free trial period allows you to try Premium features at no cost. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged for the subscription.

Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Michael Davis and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Recipe Content

Recipes displayed in the App are provided through third-party services (Spoonacular API). We do not claim ownership of recipe content and are not responsible for its accuracy. Always use your judgment when preparing food and consult professionals for dietary or health advice.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
Accuracy of nutritional information or price estimates
Uninterrupted or error-free operation

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

Loss of data
Loss of profits
Personal injury or property damage

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Michael Davis from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the updated Terms in the App. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
