Information You Provide
When you use the App, you may provide:
- Duty Period Data: Report times, release times, flight segments, airports, and flight numbers
- Sleep Log Data: Sleep start/end times, sleep quality ratings, and notes
- Settings Preferences: Home base, time zone, operation type, notification preferences
- Commute Information: Commute times and types (if enabled)
Information from HealthKit (Optional)
If you grant permission, the App may access:
- Sleep Analysis Data: Sleep duration, sleep stages (REM, deep, core, awake)
- Sleep Schedule: Bedtime and wake time data
Important: HealthKit data is read only when you explicitly sync, stored locally on your device, never transmitted to external servers, and never sold or shared with third parties.
Information We Do NOT Collect
The App does not collect:
- Personal identification information
- Location data
- Device identifiers for tracking
- Usage analytics sent to external services
How We Use Your Information
Your data is used solely to:
- Calculate FDP Limits: Determine flight duty period maximums based on regulations
- Track Fatigue: Calculate fatigue risk scores based on sleep and duty patterns
- Monitor Compliance: Help you track regulatory limits (Part 117, Part 91, etc.)
- Display Widgets: Show relevant information on home screen widgets
- Send Notifications: Alert you about FDP warnings (if enabled)
Data Storage
Local Storage Only
All your data is stored locally on your device using:
- Core Data (Apple's secure database framework)
- UserDefaults (for preferences)
- App Group containers (for widget data sharing)
🚫 No Cloud Storage
We do not store your data on external servers, sync your data to cloud services, create user accounts, or require internet connectivity for core functionality.
Data Persistence
Your data remains on your device until you:
- Delete individual entries within the App
- Delete the App from your device
- Reset your device
Data Sharing
We do not share your data with:
- Advertisers
- Analytics companies
- Data brokers
- Any third parties
The only data sharing occurs:
- Within your device: Between the main app and widgets via App Groups
- With Apple HealthKit: Only if you grant permission, and only reading (not writing)
HealthKit Specific Policies
In compliance with Apple's HealthKit guidelines:
- Purpose Limitation: HealthKit data is used exclusively for fatigue tracking and sleep analysis features
- No Advertising: HealthKit data is never used for advertising or marketing
- No Third-Party Sharing: HealthKit data is never shared with third parties
- No Sale of Data: HealthKit data is never sold
- User Control: You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in iOS Settings
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: View all data stored by the App
- Delete: Remove any or all data from the App
- Revoke Permissions: Disable HealthKit access or notifications at any time
- Export: Export your duty and sleep logs (via the Export feature)
Security
We implement appropriate security measures:
- Data is stored using Apple's secure frameworks
- No network transmission of personal data
- App follows iOS security best practices
Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
