Apertura Pro Cam ("we", "our", or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our camera application.

Information We Collect

Photos and Videos

All photos and videos you capture are stored locally on your device in your Photo Library. We do not upload, transmit, or have access to your photos or videos.

Location Data

With your explicit permission, Apertura Pro Cam may access your device's location for the following purposes:

Photo Geotagging: Embedding GPS coordinates in photo metadata (EXIF data) so you can see where photos were taken
Photo Spots Discovery: Finding nearby photography locations, viewpoints, and points of interest
Sunrise/Sunset Times: Calculating accurate golden hour times for your current location

                    Important: Location data is processed entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your location to any servers. You can disable location access at any time in your device's Settings.
                

Camera and Microphone

The App requires access to your camera to capture photos and videos, and microphone access to record audio with videos. This data is processed locally and saved to your Photo Library.

Subscription Information

If you subscribe to Apertura Pro, your purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or personal account details.

Information We Do NOT Collect

Personal identification information (name, email, address)
Your photos or videos
Your precise location history
Device identifiers for tracking purposes
Usage analytics or behavioral data
Any data for advertising purposes

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

Apple MapKit: Used for the Photo Spots feature to search for nearby points of interest. MapKit queries are processed by Apple according to their privacy policy.
Apple StoreKit: Used to process in-app purchases and subscriptions through the App Store.

We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Data Storage

All app data is stored locally on your device:

Photos and videos: Saved to your Photo Library
App settings and preferences: Stored in local app storage
Custom photo spots: Stored locally on your device
Favorite locations: Stored locally on your device

When you delete the app, all locally stored app data is removed. Photos and videos in your Photo Library are not affected.

Your Choices

You have control over your data:

Location Access: You can enable or disable location access in Settings → Privacy → Location Services → Apertura
Photo Geotagging: You can disable geotagging within the app's settings
Camera/Microphone: You can manage these permissions in your device's Settings

Children's Privacy

Apertura Pro Cam does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. The App does not require any personal information to function.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
