Frequently Asked Questions

How do I access manual controls?
Tap on any parameter (ISO, Shutter, Focus, WB) in the bottom bar to reveal the manual adjustment slider. Tap the "A" icon on any parameter to toggle between auto and manual mode.
Where are my photos saved?
All photos and videos are saved directly to your iPhone's Photo Library. You can access them in the Photos app.
How do I enable RAW capture?
Go to Settings (gear icon) → Format and select ProRAW or RAW. Note: ProRAW requires iPhone 12 Pro or later.
What's the difference between ProRAW and RAW?
ProRAW combines Apple's computational photography with RAW data, available up to 48MP on supported devices. Standard RAW (Bayer) is limited to 12MP but provides pure sensor data.
How do I use the histogram?
Enable the histogram in Settings → Overlays. It shows the distribution of tones in your image. Tap the histogram to switch between Luminance and RGB modes.
How do I record video?
Swipe left on the mode selector to switch to Video mode. Tap the red record button to start/stop recording. Access video settings in the gear menu.
What is Photo Spots?
Photo Spots helps you discover nearby photography locations like parks, viewpoints, beaches, and landmarks. Tap the pin icon (📍) next to the Editor button to open it. The feature also shows sunrise/sunset times and golden hour for your location. Location permission is required.
Why does the app need my location?
Location is used for two optional features: (1) Geotagging - adding GPS coordinates to your photos so you can see where they were taken, and (2) Photo Spots - finding nearby photography locations and calculating sunrise/sunset times. You can deny location access and still use all camera features. Your location data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.
How do I restore my subscription?
Go to Settings → Subscription and tap "Restore Purchases". Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
